Fall Prevention: Lifesaving Advice for Caregivers
Falls are one of the greatest long-term threats to the health of older Americans, even though many are preventable with proper lifestyle changes. Half of those who are hospitalized with a hip fracture are unable to return home after their injury; and many suffer secondary complications ranging from depression to pneumonia.
