Voices for Children provides life-altering advocacy for children in foster care who have been abused and neglected. We match highly-trained volunteer CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) with a single child or sibling group to give them a chance for a better future. As the only organization authorized by the Superior Court to support and train Riverside County CASAs for children in foster care, our CASAs are appointed by judges to build relationships that position them well to advocate for their case child’s best interests and to share critical information with the court, social workers, schools and others responsible for their care. In addition to this important advocacy, CASAs plan enriching activities that allow their case children to experience the joys of childhood, perhaps for the first time. Voices for Children has been serving Riverside County since 2015.
