The third annual United We Stand Parade will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2005 at 9 a.m. in historic downtown Murrieta. The parade will commemorate those lost on September 11, 2001, and honor our local heroes who serve as fire fighters, police officers and military veterans. The theme of the parade is United We Stand-Celebrating 75 years of Caring. The parade also serves as the kickoff for the 2005 United Way of the Inland Valleys fundraising campaign. The parade will be followed by a barbecue and Agency Fair, featuring booths and displays by Member Agencies of United Way of the Inland Valleys.
