Local PSA: Sliding Scale Mental Health Clinic Opens For All Ages on August 1, 2023 in Temecula, California

Bridges Community Services Inc., a non-profit organization headquartered in Murrieta, California is proud to announce the grand opening of a new sliding scale mental health clinic located in Temecula, California on August 1, 2023. Bridges Community Services Inc. Mental Health Clinic is open to all ages and accepts commercial insurance, Medicare and Medi-Cal plans including IEHP and Molina. For those who are uninsured or underinsured, the clinic has a sliding scale option which will help to make counseling more affordable.

This project is gaining local support with the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce and Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce offering media support. Local fundraisers are being held with Which Wich (8/24), Stadium Pizza (9/21), and Temecula Lanes (10/29) to support the daily operations of the clinic and to offer financial assistance to those who are uninsured or underinsured.

The issue is a timely one; studies show strong evidence that many children in need of mental health services, especially those of low-income families, don’t get the treatment that they need and/or suffer for years before being diagnosed.
