A Community-Driven Mission: Supporting Local Causes & Scholarships
The Riverside County Carnival, formerly known as Family Fun Fest, is the latest creation of Alex Kowalkoski (Prime Media Consulting) and Jason Devor (Hit Print). Their successful Family Fun Fest event laid the foundation for an even bigger and better experience, now expanded into two weekends of community-driven entertainment.
Beyond entertainment, Alex and his wife operate Temecula Valley Community Events, a nonprofit organization dedicated to hosting events that generate scholarship funds for high school graduates pursuing careers in the trades industry.
"One of the things I’m most proud of is how we turned fun into opportunity," said Alex Kowalkoski, Co-Founder of Riverside County Carnival LLC. "Last year, we raised $3,000 through our dunk tank at Family Fun Fest, and we’re thrilled to see how much more we can generate in 2025 to support students looking to enter trade careers."
This year, attendees can contribute directly to these scholarships by purchasing tickets online. Each nonprofit organization partnering with the Riverside County Carnival will receive a custom fundraising link, allowing them to market the event within their own networks and earn a percentage of ticket sales. This means that nonprofits can maximize their fundraising efforts through direct outreach, ensuring that funds go directly to their causes. Over 25 nonprofit partners will have access to these customized fundraising tools, making it easier than ever to raise money for their missions. This initiative empowers nonprofits to take control of their fundraising while providing a fun, engaging event for the community.
Exciting New Attractions & Themed Nights
This year’s carnival features a brand-new lineup of 25 rides valued at over $10 million in assets, thanks to a partnership with a leading amusement company. Attendees can also look forward to themed entertainment every night. One of the most anticipated is “Halfway to Halloween™” on May 31st, where kids can dress up in costumes and trick-or-treat throughout the carnival.
"One of the nights I'm most excited about is our 'Halfway to Halloween™' event," said Alex Kowalkoski. "It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a safe and exciting trick-or-treating experience in the middle of spring!"
Opportunities for Local Businesses & Vendors
This event provides a prime opportunity for local business owners, service providers, and retailers to engage with thousands of families in the region. Many participating vendors and sponsors are well established
businesses that actively contribute to regional economic growth and development.
"We believe that chambers, business organizations, and city leaders should be actively supporting initiatives that drive real economic benefits for the community," said Alex Kowalkoski. "We encourage all pro-business organizations to work together in ensuring economic opportunities remain open to everyone."
As a member of the Lake Elsinore Chamber of Commerce, Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce for our respective businesses, we recognize the importance of fostering strong partnerships among businesses, community organizations, and city officials. Events like this help strengthen local business networks, create new customer connections, and enhance economic opportunities. We welcome the support of all Chamber members and community leaders who are dedicated to promoting regional growth.

"We’ve always received strong support from businesses, city officials, and community leaders who understand the economic benefits of large-scale events like these," said Jason Devor, Owner of HitPrint and consultant to the Riverside County Carnival. "This event is more than just entertainment—it’s a major economic driver that puts money directly into the hands of local vendors, service providers, and small businesses.
