MURRIETA, WILDOMAR, AND BEYOND: Restaurant Month 2026
Restaurant Month returns this March, enticing food enthusiasts to savor a month-long feast
Southwest Riverside County, Calif. — February 2026 — The Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Murrieta, the City of Wildomar, and Explore Murrieta, is thrilled to announce Restaurant Month 2026, a month-long celebration of local flavor, community pride, and exceptional dining experiences throughout Southwest Riverside County.
“Restaurant Month highlights the creativity, resilience, and unique flavors our local restaurants bring to Southwest Riverside County,” said Patrick Ellis, President/CEO of the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a celebration of place, taste, and the people who make dining out an experience worth sharing.”
From March 1 through March 31, 2026, food lovers of all ages are invited to embark on a culinary journey through the region’s diverse and dynamic restaurant scene. Whether you’re rediscovering long-time favorites or sampling a new local gem, Restaurant Month is your opportunity to support the restaurateurs who are vital to our local economy and community identity.
“Restaurant Month is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the vibrant culinary scene that makes Murrieta such a special place to live, work, and visit,” said Murrieta Mayor Jon Levell. “Our local restaurants are the heart of our community; they bring people together, support local jobs, and showcase the unique character of our city. I encourage residents and visitors alike to participate in this month-long celebration.”
"I encourage everyone to dine locally during Restaurant Month. When you choose to eat at one of our local restaurants, you’re investing directly in the heart of our community," said Wildomar Mayor Carlos Marquez. "These small businesses power our economy and create the gathering places where friendships grow, families celebrate, and local dreams thrive. I’m proud to support the talented restaurateurs who help make our city such a vibrant and welcoming place to call home."
“Restaurant Month is a celebration of the incredible culinary talent and unique dining experiences we have right here in City of Murrieta,” said Scott Agajanian, Deputy City Manager/Economic Development Director. “Each March, we invite the community to explore new flavors, rediscover local favorites, and support the restaurants that make Murrieta special. When we choose to dine local, we’re not only enjoying exceptional cuisine — we’re strengthening our local businesses and investing in the continued growth of our local economy.”
